The historic Willunga Catholic Parish is situated on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula, south of Adelaide in South Australia. It is in the Southern Deanery of the Adelaide Archdiocese and is part of the Kangaroo Island, Noarlunga/Seaford and Willunga Cluster of Catholic Parishes. Fr Josy Sebastian is currently the Parish Priest of the Cluster and is supported by two Assistant Priests (Fr Prathap and Fr Dev). All our Parish Priests reside at Noarlunga.

The Willunga Parish has three Mass Centres - at Aldinga, Normanville and Willunga.

  • St Joseph's Church on St Jude Street, Willunga was established in 1850. It was the third Catholic Church in South Australia and is the oldest still in continuous use.

  • St Peter's Church on Cape Jervis Road, Normanvile celebrated its sesqui-centenary in 2008. It was opened and blessed on 1 January, 1858.

  • Mary of Galilee, the First Disciple Church at the corner of Quinliven and How Roads, Aldinga was opened in March, 2009. Galilee is situated on the grounds of the Galilee Learning Centre, which currently caters for primary-aged children.

MASSES ARE BEING CELEBRATED AT ALL THREE MASS CENTRES
with the limited numbers permitted under the 1:2sqm restriction

St Joseph’s can only have 75 attendees and St Peter’s 26.
People will be turned away once these numbers are inside.
Bookings are essential for St Peter’s - please phone Patricia Litvensky (0448 783 288).
There IS significantly more space at Galilee than at either St Joseph’s or St Peter’s,
because the wall between Galilee Church and the Hall will be opened to accommodate extras.
